
COLUMBIA, S.C. Police officers from the Columbia Police Department were searching actively for Sims who went missing on Christmas Eve. They took into custody Taylor Wardlaw to investigate his death. According to officials, Eddie Brown (30), is being held as a suspect in the death. Sims, 26, was last seen Dec. 20 at Ervin Street in Columbia. His partner, Wardlaw, reported him missing on Dec. 22 according to the police. The body was found near an area of a creek along Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford, confirmed that the body was owned by Sims. Skip Holbrook, chief of Columbia Police says Wardlaw has been arrested for murder, as well being a firearm owner in the accomplice of a violent crime.
